In Typography I, we had to choose a font family and create a type specimen book. First, I did a deep-dive analysis of the font, researching its history, purpose, and notable usages, to fully understand the personality and character of the font. The design concepts for the type specimen book included various color palettes, layouts, and graphic elements. I used Adobe InDesign to create the book, choosing a simple layout to keep the focus on the typography. I made sure to include information on the font's characteristics, such as the font family, weights, and proportions. In result, I created a bold specimen book for a bold font family.
